In Game of Thrones, you and your friends fight a bloody battle for power in Westeros. Each participant controls one of the 6 families that make up the power elite of Westeros: Stark, Lannister, Greyjoy, Baratheon, Tyrell, and Martell.
Build your armies, conquer Westeros, and crush your enemies, but remember! Keep your friends close, but your enemies even closer, because A Game of Thrones: The Board Game is not a game that can be won solely by military might. Alliances and betrayal are a big part of the game.
With its interesting order system, where you hide your intentions from your fellow players, and with battles taking place without dice, the game provides a unique experience that is better than most other games of its kind on the market.
Please note that A Game of Thrones is a long game and that it can easily take you over six hours to finish. Especially the first time you play. The number of players on the box says 3-6 and that is true, but we recommend that you have 5, preferably 6 people. 3-4 is certainly doable, but you only get the full experience with 6.
