In The Lord of the Rings - Duel for Middle-Earth, two players face off to decide the fate of Middle-Earth. One player takes on the role of The Fellowship of the Ring, attempting to protect the free peoples and destroy The One Ring, while the other plays as Sauron, attempting to capture Frodo and Sam and overwhelm Middle-earth with his evil hordes.
The game unfolds over 3 chapters that follow the same pattern. On your turn, you can strengthen your skills, gather treasure, expand your presence in Middle-earth, or rally people to your cause.
The Lord of the Rings - Duel for Middle-Earth is created by the people behind 7 Wonders Duel, and is based on the same mechanics.
