Night Soil is a very mature game about sanitation in Tudor London.
As an example of cultural progress in Europe, Tudor London (1485-1603) was at the forefront of cultural and technological development. But with modern plumbing still generations away, the city gradually filled with human waste, making it a terribly smelly place to live.
In the game, players run competing night-time waste management companies. At night, worker cards will be used to carefully maneuver waste cubes through the narrow streets of London to generate profit and recruit workers. During the day, these workers can be sent out into London to advertise, gain favor with local businesses, or improve their company's assets. However, large numbers of workers tend to exacerbate the waste problem.
At the end of the game, the player who has managed to earn the most money wins!
