Model of the 1947 Vespa 98 Corsa in scale 1:18, made of die-cast metal with plastic parts. Red, approx. 95 mm long.
The original 98 Corsa, also called the 98 Circuito, was Piaggio's racing version of the first Vespa. It had a 98 cc two-stroke engine and a multi-plate clutch, and could reach 100 km/h. The steering and suspension were on the right-hand side — a solution carried over to the series-production Vespa 125 the following year.
