Backgammon set from the French maker Hector Saxe, covered in white faux leather with a crackled, marbled texture. Well made and very stylish, with a hint of decadence.
The playing surface is dark grey felt with points printed in black and white. The set includes 30 marbled checkers, 4 dice, a metal doubling cube and white dice cups that match the case.
Hector Saxe is a French company specialising in casino and gaming equipment, known worldwide for its backgammon sets, which are handmade in Paris.
