Altiplano
The inhabitants of the Altiplano in the Andes have to be creative to make the best use of the sparse vegetation and the resources at hand. By fishing in Lake Titicaca, mining in the mountains, breeding alpacas and trading their goods, they try to make their modest fortune grow. During the game new production units are built, orders are fulfilled and some resources are stored for hard times. Each resource has its own properties and places where it can be used; while silver is money, fish can be exchanged for other goods and the wool from the alpacas can be made into cloth of high value. Plan carefully to get efficient production running and hit exactly the right moment for delivery to win in Altiplano.
Altiplano is a game with many different ways to score points, which means there is always something new to try and the game stays interesting even after many plays. And if your opponents have an eye for seeing through your plans, they have plenty of opportunity to spoil them.
