An Unexpected Party is a fast-paced, fun, action-based board game for 2-4 players, set during the opening scenes of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey – when the thirteen dwarves arrive unannounced at Bag End, much to Bilbo’s chagrin! Hilarity ensues as the dwarves cheerfully tease Bilbo under the watchful eye of Gandalf.
Step into the shoes of the dwarves and earn points by performing lines from the song “The Things Bilbo Hates.” As you move around the Bag End, you’ll sing loudly, collect items, and generally make a mess of the place. While Bilbo may be initially curious about the antics of his unexpected guests, be careful not to push the poor hobbit too far, or you’ll end up in the Dining Hall without dinner!
The game ends either when all 15 lines of the song have been sung, or when Thorin arrives. The player with the most points – who best aroused Bilbo's curiosity and stirred up life in his sheltered existence – wins!
An Unexpected Party is a perfect family game. Spend an hour in the Bag End and throw your own unexpected party!

Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
