In this tense, minimalist trick-taking game you collect valuable bee cards to earn points – but catch the same bee twice and you go into anaphylactic shock and are knocked out at once with zero points. Sharp timing, deadly traps and ruthless discarding set the scene for a brutal survival test from the very first card.
AnaPhylaxis is a trick-taking game in which players must follow suit, navigate shifting trump interactions and balance risk through a limited-use Pass mechanic. With a deck of 28 cards and duplicated high-value bees, players aim to win point cards without duplicating colours and numbers. Each round allows two critical Passes to avoid dangerous tricks, while a Pokémon-style weakness system lets certain suits beat others depending on the lead. Hands are manipulated slightly through discards, and the game's quick knockouts and tactical sacrifices mean that any decision can be fatal or victorious. The player with the highest total after several brutal rounds wins.
