40 cm Backgammon set in leatherette from Silverman & Co. featuring a padded felt playing surface in saffron, white and brown points, and nickel-plated clasps. The set includes black and white urea stone checkers, two pairs of dice, one doubling cube, and two brown leatherette dice cups with an interior felt lining and a lip to catch the dice.
The urea stone checkers are heavier and harder than standard plastic, sitting firmly on the padded felt, which also muffles the sound of the checkers and dice. At 40 cm, the set is large enough for comfortable play while remaining easy to carry under your arm.
