Bagh Chal
Bagh Chal is a 1000-year-old board game that originated in Nepal. Originally, people would carve the game's 5x5 grid out of sand or stone and use pebbles as pieces. The game's theme mimics the threat of tigers hunting animals that have strayed from the herd. One player controls a herd of 20 sheep, and the other plays as 4 tigers. The sheep win if they manage to trap all 4 tigers, while the tigers win when they have captured 5 sheep.
The game is published as part of The Ludos Collection, which aims to preserve classic games from different cultures.
