Betrayal at House on the Hill is a true horror game with archetypal characters and a haunted house in the wilderness.
In Betrayal at House on the Hill, players must explore an old and abandoned house one room at a time. Each time players place a new tile and enter a new room, they must draw a card that tells a gruesome story, which may allow players to acquire important equipment.
The game really begins, however, when the players have reached the darkest corners of the house. At this point, a traitor among the players is revealed and suddenly the rest of the players must fight for life and death.
The game contains over 50 scenarios, all based on the same premise, where one of the players turns out to be evil and where he or she tries to kill the others in every possible way.
Betrayal at House on the Hill is the perfect game for a dark and stormy evening.
