Chills, fright and horror.
Betrayal at House on the Hill is a genuine horror game with archetypal characters and a haunted house out in the wilderness.
In Betrayal at House on the Hill the players explore an old, abandoned house one room at a time. Each time the players lay a new tile and step into a new room, they draw a card that tells a gruesome story and may give the players a chance to acquire important equipment.
The game only begins in earnest, however, once the players have reached the darkest corners of the house. At that point a traitor among the players is revealed, and suddenly the rest of the players are fighting for their lives.
The game contains over 50 scenarios, all built on the same premise, in which one of the players turns out to be evil and tries to kill the others in every possible way.
This 3rd edition contains new artwork and game components that make it easy for new players to get straight into the game.
