Black Sonata
For more than four centuries, scholars have debated the identity of the mysterious Dark Lady in William Shakespeare's sonnets. According to the sonnets, the Dark Lady seduced the poet and held him in tormented servitude, while also having an affair with the beautiful youth whom Shakespeare also loved.
In Black Sonata, you find yourself in Shakespeare's London circa 1600, searching for the shadowy lady. A specially commissioned set of cards determines her covert movements from place to place. You must deduce her location and then intercept her to catch a glimpse and get a clue to her identity. You will need more clues to deduce her identity, but with each clue, the lady becomes harder to track down. Black Sonata combines covert movements and logical deduction in a unique solitaire deeply steeped in literary history.
Can you finally solve the greatest mystery in English literature? Or will the Dark Lady escape your grasp and melt away like a cloud of promises?
