Catan: Sailors (Danish)
In the first extension to the classical Catan (also known as Settlers of Catan or Settlers) the players must go to sea. Sailors contains a number of scenarios where the island of Catan is divided into smaller islands, which can only be reached using boats that players can now build.
Sailors offers a lot more variety, so if you're getting a little tired of harvesting resources on the same island in every game, then Seafarers is an obvious expansion.
The set comes with a number of pre-constructed scenarios that change the strategies from game to game.
NOTE: The Danish edition of Catan has plastic pieces and smaller cards than the English one, so it only works with other Danish expansions and the base game. In addition, the 2015 edition contains thicker landscape pieces, which are best suited for the 2015 base game.
