Chronicles of Crime: 2400 is a standalone game that can be played on its own. The game uses the familiar mechanics from the original edition, while adding a few new twists.
Welcome to Paris in the year 2400. Technology has taken a giant leap forward, and androids, indistinguishable from humans, roam the streets. You are Kalia Lavel, trained as a cypher agent, but you left the police force when you discovered their corruption. Now you do what you always wanted to do: solve crimes and help those who can't count on others in this merciless world - together with your cypher raven, who can analyze evidence and search the Internet for information.
But be careful, because technology is not always on your side! Is the character you are talking to human or android? Who is hiding behind the avatars you meet in virtual cyberspace? The battle between criminals and detectives is thousands of years old, but in the 25th century it has taken to a whole new level.
