Chronicles of Crime: 1400
Chronicles of Crime: 1400 is a standalone game that can be played on its own.
The game uses the familiar mechanisms of the original edition while adding a couple of new twists. Now you can deduce your way to the solution not only from evidence and testimony, but also from the mysterious scenes that appear on the new vision cards. These scenes can be from either the past or the future, and they often involve characters and objects you have not seen yet.
During your investigation you can get help from your family. You can, for example, ask your uncle, who is a monk, about old texts, or your merchant sister about practically any object - or perhaps your brother, who is a spy for the king, knows something about the many people you meet. And finally, your faithful dog is always ready to sniff out a suspect if you have a piece of clothing from that person.
