Codenames Duet 2025 (English)
Codenames Duet is a version of the popular party game Codenames, adapted for 2 people.
Codenames Duet keeps some of the most essential elements of the original game - giving one-word clues to get someone to guess your 'agents' - but now the two of you work together towards a shared goal instead of competing against each other.
25 words are laid out on the table. A 'key card' is set up so that each of you can see your own side. Each player can then see the 5x5 cards on the table, where 9 are marked green (your agents) and 3 are black (assassins). Three of the nine green squares are also green on the other side of the card, but there are also 6 others that are green. One of the black ones is also repeated. Together you must now find all 15 agents without hitting a black assassin before time runs out. Either player can choose to give a clue, which the other player must then try to guess. Hit an assassin and you lose.
