Codenames is a simple but incredibly fun party game that is about word associations and creative thinking.
Two teams compete against each other to win. One player on each team is the spymaster and knows the identities of all the spies in the network. The remaining players only know the agents' codenames. The team that first makes contact with all of their agents wins the game.
At the start of the game, some cards are laid out in a 5x5 square. A word is written on each card. The spymasters have a secret card that tells which 8 cards on the table cover their agents. The spymasters now take turns naming a word and a number respectively. The word must associate the correct agents on the table. The number indicates how many cards/agents the mentioned word is associated with. It is now the players' task to find the correct agents, but they must be careful. Behind one of the words is an assassin and if this word is chosen, the team has lost. The first team to identify all of their agents has won the game.
Codenames is a fantastic party game where you have to play several times in a row.

If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
