Coup is a pure bluff game.
The game contains 3x5 role cards and each player starts with two of these and two coins. The role cards also act as the players' influence. If you lose your roles and thus your influence, you are out of the round.
On your turn, you can either take coins, use a role card that has different abilities, or spend 7 of your coins to remove a role card from one of your opponents.
The rules are therefore incredibly simple. Where the game gets interesting is when the role abilities come into play. You can use one of the five roles, regardless of whether you own the card or not. It's just a question of whether your opponents believe what you say. If a player is revealed, he or she loses a role card and thus 1 influence.
Each round in coup lasts a maximum of 15 minutes, so there is plenty of opportunity to play many games during one evening.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
