In Cryptid , you play cryptozoologists on the hunt for the legendary creature, the Cryptid. But you all want to be the first to find the creature. In order to get useful information from the others, you'll have to contribute a little bit yourself. But not too much - or it'll just be one of the other players who wins!
Cryptid is a unique deduction game where you constantly try to get a sense of what your opponents know without giving them too much information yourself. The game board is set up differently each time and both the clues and the cards are different, so no game will feel the same. It can be played on two difficulty levels and there is a help app to help get the game started faster. The more players you have in Cryptid , the better.
Since Crytid focuses strongly on using the elimination method, it is also suitable for use in mathematics teaching.
