5x5 mirror cube from DianSheng with magnets and a ball core. The surface is metallized, and the pieces are distinguished by height instead of color.
A standard mirror cube is a non-magnetic 3x3. This is a 5x5, where the outer pieces each have a different height, causing the shape to change during rotation and requiring it to be solved by shape rather than color. The ball core with magnetic connection to the corners is what keeps the layers aligned — without it, the weight of the uneven pieces would pull the cube out of shape.
