IN Cubist you and your opponents are architects competing to build a magnificent and inspiring new museum of modern art, including its interior sculptures or “installations.” Fittingly, your building materials are cubes, or more precisely, dice!
Each turn, you roll two dice and place them in your studio as raw materials for your cubist sculptures. From there, you place these dice to complete commissioned installations for the museum. Dice with identical numbers can be stacked on top of each other to give your sculpture height and grandeur. Dice with adjacent numbers are placed next to each other to construct unconventional footprints of modernism. You can try your luck by committing to a particular risky commission – hoping that no one else will complete it first – or play it safe by locking your dice away for later use.
You can also use your cubes to enlist the help of masters of modern art like Juan Gris, Franz Marc, and Olga Rozanova. Each installation you complete gives you the opportunity to contribute cubes to the construction of the museum itself. You'll need to sculpt smartly, but quickly, to have the new museum named after you!

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
