What would a character do if they confronted their author?
Death of the Author is a tarot role-playing game for 1-2 players about a character struggling to gain agency in their own story. Over the course of five chapters, the character attempts to shape the narrative by subverting the scenes the author has written.
The story is told using a deck of tarot cards: what messages does the author send through the character's story, and what happens when the character finally confronts their author?
