Deckscape: The Curse of the Sphinx
Deckscape is a big experience in a small box. The Deckscape games simulate the experience of being in an escape room: a room from which the players must try to get out within an hour by solving all sorts of puzzles and riddles. It is both brain-twisting and fun.
In The Curse of the Sphinx the players are trapped in a room full of puzzles and strange objects. Solve the room's puzzles, understand the plot of the story and use the objects intelligently to escape from the room as quickly as possible.
Deckscape can be played alone or with friends. It is one of the escape room games that is well suited to families with older children, as it is designed so that players do not easily get “stuck” if they cannot find the right answer. It is also possible to choose to receive a series of hints to make it a little easier if needed.
Be aware that Deckscape games are ones you will probably only play once, since you then know all the game's riddles. But it is a nice little gift for anyone wanting to give an experience in a box.
