The game is played over 2 rounds of 8 battles, alternating between the battle for mining and the battle for drifting ore.
In the Mining Ore Battle, a must-follow trick-taking game is played in which randomly revealed ores are found. Drifting ores are placed on an island of the same colour as the card that won the trick.
In the Drifting Ore Battle, a game is played in which tricks must be taken in order to collect the ore that has accumulated on the island.
