Dixit is a great game for creative and inventive players.
The focal point of Dixit is the 84 unique cards with beautiful and imaginative illustrations.
Each player sits with 6 cards in their hand and takes turns being the 'storyteller'. The storyteller chooses a card from their hand and says a sentence based on the illustration on the chosen card. There are no rules for what can be said, only your imagination sets the limit. Anything is allowed.
Then the other players also choose a card from their hand that matches what the storyteller has said. The chosen cards are mixed with the storyteller's card and placed face up in the middle of the table.
All players, except the teller, must now guess which card is the teller's. Points are awarded as follows:
- If no one OR everyone guesses the correct card, the storyteller gets 0 points and all other players get 2 points.
- If the above is not the case, the storyteller and all players who voted on the narrator's card receive 3 points.
- All players get 1 point for each vote they get on their card.
It may sound more complicated than it really is, but the idea is simple: The narrator must be neither too clear nor too vague in his descriptions of the chosen card, and that is precisely where the game becomes really interesting.
Dixit has won a number of awards and is easy to learn. The game is also ideal for use in a Danish lesson about fairy tales or a lesson that focuses on creativity.
Dixit Odyssey is played in the same way as the original Dixit. With Dixit Odyssey you get 84 cards with new and unique illustrations and the ability to play with up to 12 players.
Dixit Odyssey can be played alone, or you can choose to use the cards as an expansion to the original Dixit.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
