In Dominion you are a noble competing with your fellow players to build the largest and most influential kingdom.

Dominion is a card game in which every player starts with the same 10 cards. On their turn, a player draws five cards, which can be played as an action or used to buy kingdom cards from a common supply. Kingdom cards are bought from a common supply. When a player's deck is empty, the used cards are shuffled to form a new deck. In this way the new cards gradually come into play and open up more options during a player's turn. The player who, with good strategy, builds the most effective set of cards takes the points and with them the victory.

Dominion comes with 500 cards, including 25 different kingdom cards, of which 10 are used in each game. This gives a very large variation from game to game. With the countless expansions released since the game was published, the game can be varied endlessly.

Dominion is a strategic card game that rewards the player who best works out which kingdom cards from the common supply combine into the most effective deck.

The main changes from the first edition are that six Kingdom cards have been removed from each game and replaced with new ones. In addition, one extra kind of kingdom card has been added, and the rules and artwork have been polished. In Intrigue rules have also been added that make it possible to play with up to 8 players at two tables or six players at one table.
