In Dominion, you, as a noble, must compete with your fellow players to build the largest and most influential kingdom.
Dominion is a card game where each player starts with the same 10 cards. When it is a player's turn, they draw five cards, which can be played as an action or used to buy kingdom cards from a common pool. Kingdom cards are bought from a common pool. When a player's deck is empty, the used cards are shuffled and a new deck is formed. In this way, new cards are continuously brought into play, opening up more possibilities during a player's turn. The player who uses good strategy to build the most effective set of cards wins the points and thus the victory.
Dominion comes with 500 cards, including 25 different kingdom cards, 10 of which are used in each game. Therefore, there is an incredibly large variation from game to game. With the countless expansions that have been released since the game's release, you can vary your game endlessly.
Dominion is a strategic card game that rewards the player who best understands which kingdom cards from the common pool can best be combined to create the most effective deck of cards.
The most significant changes compared to the first edition are that six Kingdom cards have been removed from each game and replaced with new ones. In addition, an additional type of kingdom card has been added and the rules and artwork have been polished. In Intrigue , rules have also been added, allowing you to play up to 8 players on two tables or six players at one table.
