Somewhere on a doomed and distant planet, life has arisen, competing for supremacy until the world's inevitable destruction. The object of the game is to score the most points before the world ends. Score points by playing Traits for your Doomlings' species, making them more adaptable, resilient, and mischievous. As your Doomlings assert their dominance, disasters will strike the planet, causing setbacks for each competing species. When the third disaster inevitably strikes, the world ends, and the Doomling with the strongest set of Traits is allowed to face the apocalypse and declare... "I scored the most points!"
Throughout the game, players draw Trait cards from a community deck and then play them to score points. Traits can also have special abilities and bonuses that allow players to build a wide variety of winning combinations. The game is played in rounds of Age cards, which have different rules that players must follow. But be warned, hidden within the Ages are Catastrophes: special rounds with negative effects that force players to adjust their strategy.
Doomlings adds a fun twist to hand control by introducing the "Gen Pool" mechanic. Your gene pool is the size of your hand: it's unique to you, and it can be increased or decreased through special moves or even disasters. Doomlings features 6 colorful gene pool counter cards that elegantly track how many cards you should have at the end of your turn. There are options to increase your gene pool (hand size), which can give your species a head start by giving them a larger pool of moves to choose from each turn.
Doomlings is a light card game for 2-6 players that can be played casually among friends or competitively by the gaming enthusiast family. Because there are no duplicate cards and the age cards are chosen randomly, no two games are the same. While the game itself can be learned in 5 minutes or less, don't be fooled: with 100+ unique moves - in red, blue, green, purple and colorless - and rare, powerful dominant moves, there are countless game combinations to discover.
There are also expansion packs available for advanced play, including a Hidden Objective expansion that adds a fun twist to the game. Doomlings requires no dice or extra pieces, just a cheerful embrace of the inevitable end of the world!

If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
