Eight Minute Empire
Eight Minute Empire is a big game in a small box.
The idea behind Eight Minute Empire is that you can experience an epic conquest game in just 8 minutes. In reality, the game probably lasts closer to 20-30 minutes, but that doesn't make the game any less good.
The main objective of Eight Minute Empire is to conquer territories. Each player starts in the same territory with their 'armies' and from there must conquer the surrounding regions and continents. Points are awarded to the players with the majority in the different territories, and the player with the most points when the game ends has won.
Each turn, players must choose one of six cards that are on the table. The cards provide a resource and also determine the options the player has to move his armies around the board. If you have the right combination of resources when the game is over, you get extra points. You must therefore balance both your resources and your position on the board.
