Unicorn is pleased to introduce a whole new era in Flight Shape technology, thanks to the innovative Aspect Ratio (AR) flight design.
AR is the latest darting innovation from UNIBOFFIN, following extensive research into darting aerodynamics. The wide front profile increases stability while the dart is in the air, while the tapered rear area reduces drag to increase speed.
Unlike conventional flights, the AR's corners are deliberately designed with large, sweeping curves to reduce the risk of collisions with incoming darts and promote closer grouping. To round off the innovative design of the AR's flights, a new nose profile has been engineered for faster and easier flight loading – a welcome feature for all dart players.
These flights are of the AR2 type, which focuses on more speed through the air.
