For Northwood
For Northwood! is a 1-player hand-management and trick-taking game. Your goal is to peacefully unite the kingdom of Northwood through conversations with its rulers. Over eight rounds, you must visit eight animal groups and engage their rulers in dialogue (tricks). Each ruler's suit acts as a trump card and they also require you to win a certain number of tricks before they will join your alliance, so the game becomes more difficult as your options dwindle.
You start with four allies, each with an ability that you can use once per visit. These abilities allow you to draw cards, discard cards, or otherwise manipulate your hand to help you achieve your goal. Once you've won a ruler over to your side, you can temporarily draw them in as a replacement for one of your allies if you need a more specific set of abilities to tackle the tougher rounds.
For Northwood! features multiple difficulty levels, 24 rulers (12 used per game) and a book with 16 scenarios, offering hours of gameplay with a new challenge every time!

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
