Frida Kahlo tarot cards
Tarot - not to be confused with tarock - is a card game for four players, played in partnerships, where the aim is to take tricks. A set of tarot cards consists of 21 trump cards, 4 suits of 14 cards each and one joker. The rules can vary a great deal from country to country.
This set can in fact also be used as ordinary playing cards, as it contains 52 cards in 4 suits.
The cards are often used for fortune-telling as well, as the 21 trump cards all depict symbolic archetypes.
