Set out on an adventure in the frozen north and build up your outpost in this epic campaign.
Frosthaven is the story of a small outpost far, far north of the capital, White Oak. The outpost can only just survive the harsh weather and the invasions by forces both known and unknown. A group of mercenaries fights to bring the outpost back from the brink, but the weather is not all they have to fight. The merciless cold hides other, more menacing dangers. The group must withstand the yeti-like Algox, who attack from the mountains; Lurkers, who swarm in from the northern sea; and rumours of machines that wander the frozen plains of their own free will. The group of adventurers must face all these threats, and perhaps along the way make peace with these new races, so that together they can withstand an even darker threat.
Frosthaven is a standalone adventure created by the people behind Gloomhaven. The game contains a new campaign of 100 scenarios. Characters and items from Gloomhaven can be used in Frosthaven, and vice versa.
The game has the familiar mechanisms from Gloomhaven, but contains a great many other things to do outside combat, such as countless mysteries to solve, events that follow the course of the year, and control over the expansion of the outpost, which affects how the game progresses.
