IN Great Western Trail: Argentina You own a large tract of land in Argentina, at the end of the 19th century. Your goal is to travel through the Pampas plains with your cattle and deliver them to the great train station in Buenos Aires.
The game is part of the Great Western Trail series, and is reminiscent of the original in terms of gameplay mechanics such as deck management and the ability to upgrade your game board - but also adds a twist to these elements.
The board features a new type of worker - farmers - and different paths await you, with different choices. Will you take the path with buildings, or the one that takes you past the farmers? Maybe you can use your cows to help the farmers and get them to your side and add their grain to your resources.
You might find a shortcut to Buenos Aires that gives you fewer actions, but might surprise your opponents. It takes good timing to get to the train station in time to score the most points.
Contains a solo variant where you have to try to beat a certain score.
