In Great Western Trail: Argentina, you own a large area of land in Argentina at the end of the 19th century. Your aim is to travel across the plains of the Pampas with your cattle and deliver them to the main railway station in Buenos Aires.
The game is part of the Great Western Trail series and resembles the original in game mechanisms such as deck management and the ability to upgrade your player board - but it also adds a twist to these elements.
The board contains a new type of worker - farmers - and different routes await, with different choices. Do you take the route with buildings, or the one that leads past the farmers? Perhaps you can use your cows to help the farmers, win them over to your side and add their grain to your resources.
You may find a shortcut to Buenos Aires that gives you fewer actions but might surprise your opponents. Reaching the railway station at the right time to score the most points takes good timing.
Includes a solo variant in which you try to beat a set score.
