"Hardback" is a card game where you build your own deck of cards and form words. As an aspiring 19th-century author, you work to write your next masterpiece and gain prestige along the way. Specialize your deck in specific genres to take advantage of card combinations, and try your luck to draw extra cards — but make sure you can still form words!
In addition to the competitive variant for 2-5 players, the base game includes several rules, including a cooperative mode for 1-4 players, where players team up against one of four opponents, each skilled in different card game genres.
The game acts as a prequel toPaperback, but can be played independently.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
