Wooden balancing game with 51 blocks, where each block is of a unique wood species and engraved with the name of the wood and its place of origin. The blocks are made from salvaged scraps of different trees, making each set unique.
Unlike a standard block tower made of uniform wood, these blocks vary in weight, color, scent, and surface texture, which is noticeable when building and dismantling the tower. The game is played like the classic block game: the blocks are stacked in rows of three, players take turns removing a block that is not on the top level and placing it on top until the tower topples. The blocks can also be used for free construction. El Bosque is part of the Ludus Ludi series from the Spanish workshop Pico Pao.
