Unexpected activity has been detected on Monster Island. The volcano is erupting like never before. Monsters from all over the world are gathering on the island - what's happening? They don't even fight anymore!
A new and greater evil threatens. Something so great that it threatens all the other monsters, forcing them to cooperate against the same enemy...
In King of Monster Island, You play as giant monsters who must work together to defeat a titan-like boss before it finishes building an interdimensional portal. Each turn, players roll dice to deal damage to the boss and its minions, heal themselves, gather energy and purchase new abilities, and move around the island. The boss's actions are controlled by dice that are rolled into the volcano. Their results cause the boss to move, activate minions, and attack nearby monsters.
To win, players must defeat the boss before it can complete the portal, or defeat one of their monsters. Otherwise, Earth will be lost!
