In King of Tokyo you play a gigantic monster such as Meka Dragon, The King, Giga Zaur etc. and you have only ONE goal in life: to destroy Tokyo. The only problem is that a few other giant monsters have strangely enough had the same idea. Who will be the last surviving monster and thus the king of Tokyo?
King of Tokyo is a great family game that is super easy to learn. On your turn, you roll six dice up to 3 times, just like in Yatzy. Depending on the result of the dice, you can get points, attack the other monsters, heal yourself or get energy that you can use to upgrade your monster. The game comes with 66 upgrade cards that can give your monster an extra head, poisonous spit, a tail with spikes or maybe a jetpack on its back.
A terrific game with lots of fights, smashed skyscrapers and foaming monsters.
