In Kinoko , each player secretly draws a colored card that matches a group of mushrooms - musicians, scientists, etc. - and draws a hand of three mushroom cards.
On your turn, you roll three dice and choose one of them. The dice determines your action; swap cards, take a secret card, etc. To win the round, you must gather three members of your color of mushrooms in one location.
Sounds simple? The twist is that you can only see the cards in the other players' hands, and your options are limited to what the dice show. In addition, a group of mushrooms in each round will become poisonous, and ending the turn with these in your hand will result in minus points.
The winner of the round gets plus points, and the first to 4 points wins.
