Playing cards Anyone Checkerboard Benjamin Edgar

A literal/numerical abstraction focused solely on the standardised total number of cards used in every deck of playing cards.
This is a collaboration between Anyone Worldwide, a leading name in cardistry and card culture, and Benjamin Edgar, an abstract industrial design and art object project. The result is a tightly edited deck with a literal/numerical abstraction of the total number of cards used in a deck.
A conservative approach in its visual design, with an intense, perfectly confusing change to what is familiar about standard playing cards. The result is a deck in which each card's number or value is shown as its position in the deck instead of the traditional 13 cards per suit, while the correct pip or suit is kept on every card, so the cards can still be used for all standard card games.
