Fournier’s edition of the Tarot de Marseille, the classic French tarot design from the 18th century. The colours are brighter and the lines clearer than in the woodcuts of the original.
The cards are used both for fortune-telling and for the French tarot games in which tricks are taken. Each of the 22 major arcana stands for its own archetype, and an English overview of the meanings is included. Rules of play are not included.
