Mascarade is a bluff and deduction game par excellence.
In Masquerade, the goal is to be the first player to have 13 gold coins. All players start with 6 gold coins and are also given a role card that is hidden from the other players. Once players have looked at their own role card, they place it face down on the table and are not allowed to look at it again.
Turns go clockwise and on their turn a player can do one of the following three things:
- State your role and perform the role's function. The game contains 13 different role cards, each with different abilities. Typically, you use the abilities to get more gold by stealing from others, taking from the bank, etc.
- Swap roles. Here the player takes one of the opponent's and their own role cards below table height and WITHOUT looking at the cards, the player decides to swap the cards or leave them as they were to begin with.
- look at the role card. If the player is completely unsure of which role is on the table, the player may look at his role card and then put it down again. However, the player may not do anything else on his turn.
Mascarade is an incredibly simple game filled with bluff, deduction, interaction and chaos.

Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
