Matador is the Danish version of the American-developed Monopoly, which first saw the light of day in 1903 as "The Landlord's Game".
The main objective of the game is to buy up land and businesses in Copenhagen and subsequently demand rent from other players. The winner is the one who has the most money after an agreed period of time, or the last one left when everyone else has gone bankrupt.
