Memoir 44
Memoir 44 is a 2-player war game where players fight the most infamous battles on the Western Front of World War II.
As either the Nazis or the Allies, players must attempt to defeat the enemy using soldiers, tanks, and artillery. Players must try to use the landscape to their advantage, hide in bunkers, and try to outmaneuver the enemy's troops.
Memoir 44 looks quite complex on the surface, but is actually quite simple to play. At the same time, the game offers many options to influence the outcome of the battles and combined with the relatively simple ruleset, makes Memoir 44 a true neoclassic within the genre.
