MESOS
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Thousands of years ago, a new era began for humankind. The nomadic hunter-gatherers, who had laboriously earned their place on Earth, organised themselves into small groups, differentiated social roles, built the first settlements and set off a great revolution. Researchers call this period 'Mesolithic', and this game is about these people.
In MESOS you are the leader of an ancient tribe, and your role is therefore to nurture the tribe's growth by adding new members, securing its sustenance, constructing buildings and dealing with events as they unfold. Each round you place your totem pawn on the offer track, and then, following the order of the pawns on the track, you acquire character or building cards and add them to your tribe. Each card has specific effects and can earn prestige points (PP) as you construct specialised buildings and prepare wisely for the events you will face.
Whoever manages to bring the most prestige to their tribe wins.
