Mordene på Samsø (The Samsø Murders) is case 001 in ARKIV by Unsolved, a series of physical murder mysteries in Danish. In September 2006 two people were killed on the Danish island of Samsø, and almost 20 years later the case is still unsolved until the players take it on. The case file contains crime scene reports, witness interviews, photographs, medical records, handwritten notes, letters, newspaper clippings, transcribed emergency calls and sealed envelopes with evidence and the final solution.
There are no rules to learn: open the case, work through the material as in a real investigation and discuss your way to the culprit. The case is built on how real criminal investigations are carried out and has been reviewed by lawyers and police officers. Mordene på Samsø has medium difficulty and is the first case in the series. All material is in Danish.
