My Favorite Things
In stock at the following stores: Games Aarhus
My Favorite Things is a party game with trick-taking in which you do not know the value of your cards, but get to know your fellow players instead.
In the game you give your neighbours a category and ask them to write their five favourite things (and one least favourite thing) in that category on their cards. You then use these cards to play a trick-taking game with all the other players, in which none of you knows the true value of a played card until the end of each trick. Your neighbour's preference ranking is the strength of the card. Card 1 is highest and 0 is lowest, but if 1 and 0 appear in the same trick, 0 wins.
Because you are playing with each other's preferences, every trick reveals something about your fellow players and starts interesting conversations. Does Paul like Power Rangers more than Anthony likes Banana Milkshake or Archie likes Italian disco? These are the deductions and judgement calls you have to make in My favorite things.
