Mysterium (English)
A group of psychics has been summoned to an old and haunted manor house, where a ghost is spreading horror and unease among the residents and servants of the house.
Legend has it that the ghost is a former resident of the manor who, many years ago, was executed for a murder the person did not commit at all.
Mysterium is a cooperative game in which one of the players is the ghost, while the remaining players are psychics trying to help the ghost find peace.
To succeed, the psychics must identify the murder weapon, the scene of the crime and the real murderer. That is easier said than done, however, because the ghost, who knows every detail of the crime, is not allowed to speak to the other players. The ghost can only communicate through dream cards, which carry mysterious, wondrous and beautiful illustrations.
Mysterium is a fantastic family and cooperative game with the social side at its centre, as the psychic players can help each other interpret the various dream cards handed to them by the ghost. It is a unique and innovative game that everyone can join in, and the difficulty can be varied so that it never becomes too hard or too easy.
Mysterium has the potential to become one of the truly great family classics.
