You may already know the social deduction game Werewolf, where a village is haunted by werewolves and where players must find out who is who through deduction, accusations, bluffing and deception.
One Night Ultimate Werewolf boils the Werewolf gaming experience down to one night. That is, there is only one vote and the werewolves win if a villager is lynched, while the villagers win if they behead a werewolf.
The game begins at night. All players have been assigned a role card, which tells them whether they are a vaulv or a villager. If they are a villager, they may also have been given a special ability that allows them to perform specific actions during the night.
When the night begins, all players close their eyes and one by one, the players must perform the actions associated with their role. When all roles have had a turn, everyone opens their eyes and the accusations can begin. Now the players must find out who the others are, and if you are a werewolf, you must try to spread distrust and lies among the other players.
After a few minutes, everyone counts down from 3 and points at the same time to the player they think should be lynched.
One Night Ultimate Werewolf works really well as a social game. It is more chaotic than the regular Werewolf games, but at the same time you also avoid the possibility of players being eliminated. With 10 different roles and there is also plenty of variety and different combinations to try
