Otter Pocket 2ND Edition
In Otter, players race to be the first to play all their cards by placing cute creatures on otter bellies.
But Otter is a race game that teaches patience, a game where shedding cards brings advantages, and a sweet game that will make you think.
The play: There are three otters to play on. Each otter has a rule about numbers on its head and a rule about colours on its tail. You must follow at least one rule to play on the otter, but if you follow both, you may play on that otter again until you follow only one rule. This can lead to some epic turns.
The twist: Before playing, you can draw cards to flip or swap a head or a tail and so change the otter's rules. Drawing cards helps you play bigger combinations, but it can also leave you with cards you cannot play this turn.
The final touch: Players keep the cards they did not play between rounds and then draw until they have 10 cards. So if you hold a big combination (many cards of the same suit), you have a reason to hang on to those cards for as long as possible, unless you think you can play your whole hand in the current round. If you play your combinations too early and someone else goes out first, you lose your head start for the next round. Playing fast is fun, but the strategy lies in knowing when to play fast, when to hold back and when to pivot.
Every turn is a small puzzle to solve.

If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
